A Game Plan and a Playlist

So when I started having my anxiety problems back last Summer, I met with my Pastor. He helped me make a game plan for what to do when those moments of anxiety come. 1. Pray and rebuke the Spirit of Fear in Jesus' name.  Jesus' name is the most powerful name in the entire universe! It is 100% impossible for any evil spirit to be within 100 yards of Jesus. As His children, we have the ability to call on Him anytime we need Him. And the Bible says the same power that rose Jesus from the grave, the same power that He used to calm the storm, to heal the sick, to walk on water, to _____________, lives within us. When you became a Christian God gave you His Holy Spirit. God lives in YOU! You have the power to tell those anxious thoughts to go right back where they came from. Spirit of Fear, Doubt, Anxiety, Stress, Anger, (whichever or however many are specifically messing with you) I am a child of the Most High, the King of Kings. You have no power over me, you cannot harm me, ...

A Great Treasure

One of my favorite movies is National Treasure  with Nicholas Cage and Justin Bartha. Most people have probably seen it, but for those of you who haven't.... National  Treasure is about a man named Ben Gates (Cage) who has been told pretty much from infancy about the great treasure of the Free Masons that had been collected from various kingdoms and empires over the centuries. However, because the Free Masons didn't want the treasure falling into the wrong hands and being used for the wrong purposes, they hid the treasure away and left clues that would lead those who knew what they were looking for to the treasure. The secrets of the treasure and the clues that would lead to it had become Gates' Family lore by the time Ben was able to begin his search. Passed from generation to generation, some of the Gates family men had tried and failed to find the treasure and had given up on it. Ben's own father, Patrick, thought his pursuit of the treasure crazy and it had caused ...

Two are Better than One

Luna Lovegood: [about her father] We believe you, by the way. That He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is back, and you fought him, and the Ministry and the Prophet are conspiring against you and Dumbledore.  Harry Potter: Thanks. Seems you're about the only ones that do. Luna Lovegood: I don't think that's true. But I suppose that's how he wants you to feel. Harry Potter: What do you mean? Luna Lovegood: Well if I were You-Know-Who, I'd want you to feel cut off from everyone else. Because if it's just you alone you're not as much of a threat. -Conversation between Luna Lovegood and Harry Potter from Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix I was watching The Order of the Pheonix  movie earlier and I saw this scene between Harry and Luna. For those who don't know, before this, the evil villain Voldemort had come back however, many in the wizarding community didn't want to believe he had returned. So in order to keep themselves in their happy bubbles, ...

A Love Letter from the King re-post

So this is a re-post....however...I really think it's one that needs to be read over and over and over again....I was thinking about this letter earlier this week and I decided to re-post it cause it was so special and I didn't want it to get lost in the list of archived posts and no one read it. :) Post from October: A few weeks ago I was in my room and was pretty anxious. Suddenly the desire to write in my journal came to me. I picked up my journal and favorite pen and started writing, I had no idea what I was going to write just had the feeling that I needed to write. The letter that follows is what came out of this time. I can honestly say that I wasn't the one coming up with the words, it was truly a God and Drea moment. A note, in a future post I plan to go into more about being God's princess, but simply put, if you're God's child you're royalty! He is the King of Kings, sons and daughters of kings are princes and princesses. Also referenced in ...
